Shana's journey into yoga began in 2007. Having struggled with chronic back pain for years, she decided to try yoga to find relief. In a relatively short time, her back pain had subsided and she became a dedicated yoga practitioner.
While training in 2010, she decided she would like to teach one day, and thus went on a yearlong Teacher Training to receive her 200HR certification. It was during her Teacher Training that she discovered yoga was not just a physical practice but a timeless philosophy of mental and physical health. For Shana, yoga is not just a job but a way of life. It is this same strong determination that enabled her to quit her job and begin teaching yoga full time.
In July 2015, Shana completed her training to become a 500HR RYT, and is now certified in Yoga Therapy. Shana has over 1500 hours of teaching experience.
Shana is also a Reiki Master.
