Jen grew up in a rural town in New Hampshire, but spent the last 14 years of her life in Boston. Jen's background is hugely varied - she studied Psychology at Boston University, earned a Master's in Teaching from Northeastern University, worked for an educational travel and tour company, and taught elementary school for six years! Her truest love, however, is spreading yoga and holistic wellness. She just moved to Naples in October 2017 and is so excited to join this warm and sunny community in Southwest Florida!
Jen has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed her 200 hour training at Back Bay Yoga (now YogaWorks) in Boston.
She has a lighthearted and playful style that is accessible to everyone, and will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Her classes have a strong emphasis on mindfulness and alignment, while encouraging curiosity, kindness, self-compassion, and listening to one’s own body. She believes that yoga can be a very powerful form of self-discovery, and that it offers lessons for how to cope and thrive through all of life’s ups and downs. She's passionate about sharing these mental and spiritual benefits of yoga, in addition to the physical practice.
Jen has completed additional trainings in restorative yoga, Backcountry Yoga (yoga hikes in nature), and stand-up paddleboard yoga. She loves to find unique ways to incorporate the yoga practice into many activities and areas of our lives. She also finds a lot of inspiration in music ~ check out her fun and unique playlists!
